Awful battery life on rubix

I drop from 90% to 15% by just watching YouTube on ulv 1 ghz to 350 mhz in about 3 hours . And on standby in school ill drop from full to 60 % on ulv. 800 to 350 mHz. From 7am to 2 pm. This seems sort of ridiculous. Any help?

So really, you have been tinkering around with the voltages and clock speeds and basing your opinion off of your tinkering around and trying to apply it to Rubix 1.0 as a whole???

Seriously, save it pal. Rubix 1.0 has great battery life. I along with many other users can attest to that. Try putting all your OC and voltage setting back to stock and see what happens. :icon_ banana:

Im not trying to bash rubix. I think its the best Rom but I'm having issues with it. I'll try going back to. Stock

Something has to be running in the background. I think you have at least 1 offending application or widget killing your battery.

im on RubiX 1.0 ROM and have the LV 1ghz running and my battery life is amazing. juicedefender says x2.58. i unplug around 0615 and idles till lunch, moderate use for an hour then idle till about 1630 and im usually at 70-60% i also have the extended battery (recommend getting one!!)

The user is new and has two negative threads about Rubix so I would say it is safe to say they are another competing dev in disguise.

I bet money it is that Matt4942 or whatever his name is. The one who got booted from Team Defuse and is royally upset.

I can assure you im not Matt 4942. I have two threads about problems I'm having with rubix. So are you saying that I can't post issues?

And if I didn't like rubix I wouldent post threads about issues . I would just use ape x or fission or tranquility (joke Rom) .

Now for my thread about the camera problem is probley just a bug that I'm only experiencing, I just wanted to make sure it wasent a wide spread problem with a fix or something.. anyway please don't say I'm a angry dev because I post 2 issues, we all know rubix is the best aosp dx Rom.

Yeah you may having something else up, I run Rubix 1.0 @ medium voltage 1.45ghz and get over 15+ hours on a charge.

Try the app Watchdog, it will let you know if you have a runaway/battery eating app.

I had the same issue with Rubix... horrible battery life for me. I couldn't go longer than 11 hours with medium usage. I uninstalled all of my third party apps, no overclocking or task managers, and the problem persisted. It also took over 5 hours to fully charge while stock took only 2.5 to 3 hours. I am back to stock (minus some bloat) and am currently at 30 hours and still at 20%. Battery life is fantastic.

Rubix was the fastest and most stable of any ROM I had tried but the battery issue just killed it for me. I wish I knew what was going on because I would love to switch back.
