Audio Notifications/Music

When listening to Music (headphones plugged in) and I received a text/email the audio notification interrupts the song (it's also really loud). Is there a way to disable the AUDIO potion of notifications while listening to music? IE only have it vibrate when i've received a text/email??

I could be wrong, but I think the settings with your email and messaging app control that.

Are you using any aftermarket mesaging app AND are you using Gmail/exchange mail?

I don't see the option in any of my settings. I'm rooted and running DAS BAMF 1.7. I use Handcent for sms and just Gmail for my email.

I haven't looked into this myself, but maybe a certain sound profile would help your issue.

Anyone else want to help?

Mine started going to vibrate when I listen to music since the ota update. Eventhough I think I would rather deal with them interrupting than the phone rebooting.

I've never had a problem with rebooting. I'm rooted though so I didn't get the OTA update. However,the rom im running I believe is based off that update.
