Hello,

Im a power user of my Droid X. On, off, on, off, audio jack in and out, and in and out all day long. As a result, the connection on my wired headset(s) is getting glitchy. When I move about, which is always, there's a lot of static.

Any way to correct this? Open phone and tighten something that's worn or loose?

Droid X is a cople months old/new.

Thanks.

There is an issue with the original Droid that sounds the same (rats cause I just ordered the DX). Anyway, you slide a tiny piece of paper in the front of the ring that surrounds the plug. The corner of an envelope was suggested in the thread that I read. I did this on my Droid. The paper fell out over night but I have had no problems with the headphone jack since then so I guess putting the paper in adjusted the connection enough to fix it. Search for headphone jack and hopefully you can find the original thread. Can't believe this is still and issue on the DX!

edited to add - here's the thread

The forum search is bad, btw. Had to Google to find this!
