It seems AT&T has more to worry about than just a an overburdened network. These ladies logged on to thier Facebook accounts and landed on someone else's page with full access. Pretty scary.

Interesting, but isn't that a Facebook issue? I would think that Facebook should have something in place to prevent that from happening. Even if AT&T's network malfunctioned thee still be safeguards in place from Facebook.

AT&T said something about it being a "rare" occurence. It was a "missdirected cookie" by AT&T. Def an AT&T issue.

There are just too many issues where people have been able to access someone elses facebook page. If you post something you should treat it like anyone can and will see it. If you do not want everyone to know that info maybe you shouldnt post it. putting a lot of personal information on a webpage (ie facebook, twitter, myspace) is just unwise and has the potential to get in the hands of someone that you do not want it in.

Personally I don't use facebook, twitter, myspace, or any of those types of things. But people do put crazy stuff up there, that they probably should keep to themselves. I have a couple kids, who are in the age group of loving those types of sites. And I don't police them, as I know my kids. They are stupid and will post something I don't want to know up there.

But yeah this is scary. I wonder if this bug will work with other things, like Amazon, paypal, or e-mail....
