Asphalt 7 game lag?

Just wondering if I am alone with this lag issue. Its really really low fps. I can not even steer the darn thing.

I have been playing Dead Trigger, similar in graphic intensity, and I occasionally get some lag upon first loading a map. However it runs incredibly smooth even if I pause the game to change music or send a text message and come back.

I would recommend checking your running apps for any apps using exceptional amounts of RAM. (100mb for a text app or something along those lines).
