Apps not showing up............

I have been downloading some apps, and they are not showing up on my desktop for my Samsung Captivate. When I go to "Manage Apps", I see them there. Is there something I'm missing here?:huh:

when you say "desktop", do you mean your homescreens, or your app drawer?? the apps won't be on your homescreen until you create a shortcut, but they should be in your app drawer. if not, try a reboot - that sometimes is required to get the icons to show up.

Yup, I meant my apps drawer. I did a reboot, and still nothing. I was also having to manually delete apps through "Manage Apps". They would not delete directly from my app drawer.
