Does anyone else have a problem with needing access to certain items. Really, why does Ringdroid need full internet access or read contact data? Or something like aCar needing full internet access and to read phon state and identity? May I just being paranoid?

Some apps need to know phone state so they can suspend when the phone rings.

[Sarcasm Font On] Others need internet access so they can report what you are doing to the IRS, DEA and PETA.[Sarcasm Font Off]
