just wondering something,I use the advanced app killer right, but a like a hr later all the apps start running again with out me turning them on ....is that how its suppose to be on the droid ?
well THATS exactly the reason why a taskkiller app is not useful on android. Android takes unused Apps and "puts them to sleep", meaning that they still run, but dont use memory and processor ressources. And if they are needed, android can open them fastly, cuz they are still there.
Now if you use a taskkiller, and kill such an app, u use more ressources to kill it and then restart it, as it is intent to work, then just let it go "to sleep"
Use a task manager, like the one in settings or another app to kill more of the 3rd party apps/games you download and open...or even to kill the browser if you don't want to use it after opening. Other than that most of the native pre-loaded Android OS apps can remain open without lag.
Edit: [About Browser remark] Of course, it is not necessary, especially with the OS-driven apps like the browser but it won't lag your phone due to the browser not being one of those apps that forces restart. But ones like the Mail, Alarm clock, etc...they will all continue to restart.
