has anyone else noticed that messages displayed in the Quick Reply Pop Up are NOT marked as read when pressing on close (the "X") without replying? starting with 2.9.32, the widget icon and taskbar still indicate the text is unread (although the LED is turned off). you have to open Handcent and view the mesage thread before they will turn off now. i do have the option to "mark as read" selected in the pop up settings. this worked properly in 2.9.31...

Mine is marked as read to when i close the pop up window.

there is a setting in the popup settings as to whether or not the message will be marked read when pressing "x". double check that its enabled.

what i get is the pop up before the sound/vibrate

im typing then the sound/vibrate goes off its freaking annoying

this just happened but all day it was working fine

when you guys install new versions of Handcent, do you uninstall the old version + reboot + install new version, or do you just install the new version over the old version?

ok, ok, so i uninstalled 2.9.32, reboot, reinstalled 2.9.31 from backup (My BackupPro) and test. works fine, i hit the X, the popup closes and the message is marked read. then i installed 2.9.32 over the old, reboot and test. problem is back - if i hit the X, the popup closes but message is not marked read. i verified that the setting "mark read" under popup settings is checked. wierd.
