I am gathering that this is a known issue prior to the Bionic but I am not sure on that. If I take an app and move it to media (standard allowed apps, no root or trickery here) sometimes it breaks the icon or completely breaks the app. Some of them I can fix by just deleting the shortcut and creating a new one. Others it is as if I never installed them, and I have to reinstall them. Is this a gingerbread thing or what?
Some examples: Rainy Days, Copilot Live versions 8 and 9, Pandora, Angry Birds and GPS Essentials. However many many other apps move with no problems at all. I should also add that after a few attempts I am able to get them over to the SD card with success, there have been no permanent failures.
