If i update and wipe data, how would i get my apps i paid for again??

use mybackup (free on market)

Or i forgot Astro (file manager) can back them up on ur sd card

When you log in to your gmail account, your paid apps will be listed in the market under downloaded. Reinstall and go.

The market keeps track of your apps via your google profile. You don't have to back them up. If you switch phones you still have your apps too.
