Hey guys there are a couple apps i would like to install but on some of the apps for ex. HandCent before you download it the one of the notifications is (services that cost you money by directly calling numbers or texts) What does this mean and has anyone ever been charged anything?

I think I understand your question. All this means is that it has access to a service on your phone you pay for. In other words, handcent is going to be sending texts, but those texts aren't free, you're paying for those texts the way you normally would with verizon. Only instead of sending those texts through verizon's messaging app, you're using handcent. Its not charging you anything extra, its just stating that it has access to use that function. If it didn't have access, then it wouldn't be able to send text messages at all

ok thanks for the info, I was worried it would randomly call or text people.
