Until now Chromecast has been used mostly for streaming Netflix and Youtube. There have also been some applications that have been made available that allow you to stream local content to the chromecast, and several apps are coming out on a regular basis now that the SDK has been released. The new experiment from Chrome called "Photowall" is a chromecast enabled device that allows you to upload photos, edit them with the included paintbrush, make a collage, and then send them to the chromecast. More than one person can be involved. In fact anyone in the room with a phone and the photowall app can interact with the photos. When everyone is finished the project can be morphed into a youtube video which can then be shared on your favorite social networks. Head to the play link below to join in on the fun!
