App icon help

All of my app icons have turned into pics of little blue gear-looking things, replacing the true app picture. If i go to the list of all my apps the correct pictures are there, but the ones on my pages are changed.

Anyone seen this or know what causes it? Powering my phone on and off and even removing and reinserting the battery doesnt help.
