App data transfer

I recently got a dx and I want to take app data back ups from my d2 and restore them on my dx.... has anyone tried this? Is it safe?

i'd say... make a back up and then give it go... just in case... but the d2 and dx are pretty similar... so it might just work pretty good... or you probably could do it manually
