Aosp liberty market 2.3.6

I Screwed up my Android market 2.3.6. I used jrummys app manager from liberty ROM manager to uninstall it, then used root explorer to install a 3.3.11 from the internet. Now no version works and force closes. Uninstalled, cleared cache, reinstalled mounted as r/w, wiped dalvik cache, no dice. How can I reinstall 2.3.6 and get it to work?

I flashed 2.3.6 market and followed the instructions. It works for 5 seconds then force quits.

Instructions were to wipe cache partition, then dalvik cache, then install zip from Sd card. Can anyone help? I have no market

Does the market number have to match the Android version? I'm running 2.3.3

Solved my own problem. Found my Aosp liberty zip on the Sd card, went into it, extracted vending.APK to system/app, ran apk. Done and works.

Could you have just went into CWM recovery and flashed gapps
