anything better than BetterCut with Launcher Pro?

I dont know if theres something Im doing wrong, but in Better Cut the bottom right corner of the icon is chopped off.

If I choose CROP A PICTURE I can get the entire icon, but it crops the background outside the image into the icon and it looks bad.

Anyone have any better ideas?
