IDK where you read that about 1 month, but under the "testing phase" section, it simply states that Motorola will provide the approximate month tha the OTA will be available. In other words, they will tell us when it will be available, which has already been done. Also, that page says updated on 5-18-12, so this could be very well past the "development" phase.

I have no idea where they are at with this and I'm of the mindset that "I'll get it when I get it." Just sayin'.

EDIT: FWIW, it also says the XOOM is in Testing Phase and the OTA is out for it.

I'm actually starting to get really irritated with Motorola, Verizon, and Google. This is the most inconsistent crap I have ever had to deal with. Why release an OS into the public if it's going to take almost a year to get it on your devices? The next OS will be out and I'll just be starting to enjoy mine.
 
While it is annoying that verizon and Motorola take too long to satisfy the consumer wants...they also don't seem to know how to communicate :-(


They never said it was launching today, some people just believe everything they read at the unreliable sources like cnet.
 
I'm sure it'll come out soon. I would rather they make sure everything functions correctly and operating as it should than to have it out and it perform horribly with issues because they pushed it out prematurely just cuz the Razr owners complained about it taking so long. If they push it out before its ready then the owners will be crabbing at how bad it is and how they should've made sure it was a functioning OS first. So I can wait..

I don't understand why so many people are letting ICS get under their skin. Android 2.3.6 is the smoothest and IMO the best OS I've had on any of my phones. moto and Verizon say Q2, when Q2 is over and ICS isn't out then you have a small reason to complain about, it'll get to us when it gets to us 2.3.6 is just fine for me.
