Anyone else with Gmail notification problems?

My gmail notifications/autosync stopped working late this afternoon. Has anyone else noticed this as well? I'm wondering if it's possibly a Google issue.

Try going to menu>applications>menu filter all>go to gmail and delete all cache and data. I had this problem along time ago and this always solves any gmail problems for me. (If it doesn't sync for a couple hours don't worry, eventually it will. Usually immediately)
