Any Suggestions on Widgets/Home Scree/Good Apps

This is my first smart phone so I have no clue what I am really doing on this thing and would like to make the most of it so I was hoping for some suggestions and screen shots of how ppl how they have their widgets and home screens set up to get the most use. Apps that would help me get the most use or what are the must have apps. THANKS SO MUCH
