Any new word on netflix for droid

Was it last november that there was a netflix forum discussion where they were saying the first part of the year they were going to try and have a netflix app out.

Has anyone heard anything more on that?

My understanding of it, is netflix will only support the new devices that have some kind of something done with the processor(?)... So I assume we'll see an app on android when one of the phones announced at CES are release.

I may be wrong, that was just what I got out of a couple articles I read a month or so ago.

I actually called the customer support line the other day, and was told that the APP is done and in testing. The holdup is due to DRM issues with Android OS. Perhaps this will be something addressed in the official release of Gingerbread.

I have to actually call bull on Netflix on the DRM part since Blockbuster and Fios on Demand don't seem to be limited by it.
