Any Luck Woody?

while doing some research, i came across an article on how to root a nexus s on 2.3.4,would that be any help to acheiving root on the Droid 3? i'll admit to not understanding all the processes involved in rooting, just trying to help.

How about a link?

If the kernel and framework are the same or very similar, possibly, but I'm guessing Verizon/Moto patched up everything that they could see and all vulnerabilties other 2.3.4 phones had.

Of course if this takes a while, we could just wait for Moto to push out the bootloader unlock update that they had been talking about.

Good luck Woody, nonetheless! :D

ah.....I see....then yes....that helps. We still would need Fastboot drivers I would assume right?

UGH!!!! I hate waiting for the following

A) root
B) SBF
C) ROM's

;)

You can install the drivers hold down both volume buttons and. Power
