Another contact search problem

I change the settings so that only my phone contacts, not my gmail contacts, show up in the list of phone contacts. That worked, but when I search for someone, it still shows results from gmail contacts. I tried checking "only contacts with phone numbers" but that didn't help. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum...I believe the search function works for all contacts...Although you are using display only phone contacts it searches all....Maybe someone has other idea.
