Annoying App suggestions

This last week I noticed in the notification bar a Star with a red circle inside.
tapping on that takes me to the Market Place and a suggested App install.
Twice this week it has been "tv. tv.tv - Watch tv on your phone"

Any one else seen these AND how do I get rid of them?

Got my first one just a little while ago. Mine was a plus sign, took me to the market for app called camera upgrade. I wonder if from a app may have installed, happens again may have to go backward & uninstall apps to see if stops but am also up for suggestions.

Yes, I thought it was connected to one App - "Food Finder" - which I un-installed the other day, but the message/offer showed up again. So, I am at a loss.

Mine was a airpush ad from app dl'd. There is app on market called airpush detector, you might want to try it.
