Android root 2.2 incredible keeps failing

Ok so I keep trying to root my phone and it is saying something about the version being older then the phone and said failed or whatever I am so confused because I updated the driver software and I am using windows 7 and I just want to know how to fix this

I know this is in the wrong section so staff please move to right one when I report it because I am not really sure where I should have put it

your obviously on the inc1, not inc2. wrong forum buddy.

if you do have the inc2, then what are you doing trying to root with unrevoked.
