Android N officially revealed to be Nougat!

I'm with Musty. You don't eat A nougat.
You eat a Cupcake, a Donut, you eat a Jelly Bean, eat an Ice Cream Sandwich, eat a bowl of Froyo, eat some Gingerbread, eat a Kit Kat, roast a Marshmallow....
you... eat a ... candy bar.... that has some... nougat... IN it? Um...no.
Can you even BUY nougat separately?

I voted for Neapolitan....
I guess I can see that point. I just like the word. Always have.

Also, apparently you can just buy nougat?

I care more about the system than the name. On my Note4 it's gonna stand for NEVER as in it'll never see it.

It doesn't need bowl. I simply added bowl (and roast) to not have eat before each one.

Let's go get some froyo for desert.

Give it up, Kansas. ;)

In the end, does it really matter?
A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet.
Semantics. Of course it matters!!

I expect to see it misspelled constantly, and bet that nugget will often be referenced instead. Frankly that would be a better choice except that is not a desert.
