Android draining my data plan fast

My Android phone is draining my data plan real fast and im incurring more bills. could somebody tell me what could be wrong?

Well, tell you what you can't expect less consumption of data with the Android it's built to drain the data anyway but like @Urbanbounce said you could head over to the settings>data usage to see if there is anything fishy. Again I would say if you have purchased this device recently than i can expect the higher data consumption because it may be updating itself over the background which results in higher data consumption.
