Android 12 and Google broke my ability to tether my Pixel 4 XL to my 2018 Chevy Equinox. I get a message when opening Android Auto on my phone that says it's only for car screens. Try Google Assistant driving mode instead. Everything was working just fine before. Google Maps, Waze both were mirrored on the car screen, along with other apps like Apple Music, and Amazon Prime Music. Now, nothing. If there's not a work around for this, it may be time to go over to the "dark side" and use Apple Car Play with an iPhone. Very upsetting.
