Here's an interesting mystery to share. A Nexus 5 with Lollipop showed up on Geekbench today. While this is normally an occurrence which would not engender any necessary response or interest, what is quite puzzling is the version of Lollipop supposedly running on this device: Android 5.2.
We already know from numerous reports that Google's plans for the next update of Lollipop will likely be Android 5.1, so why would we suddenly be seeing a version of Android that is a step beyond that already? Is Google cooking up something new to add to the mix, or is this some odd typo/fake story? Your guess is as good as ours, but it makes for some interesting speculation. Share your theory.
