OnePlus 5 Beats Some Of The Top Dogs In Geekbench Benchmarking.

The OnePlus 5 is already producing lots of hype in the tech community. Last week some of the specs leaked out and now it looks like the device has shown up in the Geekbench benchmarking app. It looks like OnePlus' new flagship device beats the Galaxy S8 and Sony Xperia XZ Premium in geekbench scores. The score for the OnePlus 5 is 1963 and 6687 on the single core and multi core bench while the Xperia scores 1943 and 5834 and the S8 scores 1929 and 6084 respectively. According to Geekbench the OnePlus 5 will launch with Android 7.1.1 Nougat with the Oxygen OS overlay. As is to be expected this phone is already one of the most anticipated phones of the summer. I guess we will see how fast it truly is once it releases.

I want to see it beat them in battery endurance. These benchmarks don't mean squat any more when the phone is dead.
