Soot soot !!! Thanks for the tip Ray, worked like a charm. I was getting tired of tapping on the "check for update" button. Now I'm a happy camper

Thought I'd post an update: I woke up this morning to find out that an update has been pushed out to me. I tried the suggestion from ‘The_Other_Ray’, I even tried it more than once as mentioned in the linked post. Thanks for sharing the post as it seemed to have worked for others.
Just spent 10-15 mins with it so far. I can see that it is a lot more responsive than Gingerbread was. Looking forward to spending more time with it and enjoying the better user experience as touted by other on this and other forums.
