"Andy Depends on the bench testing. It will be available for download before VZ pushes it out to all users. I'm just as anxious to have FroYo on my Droids (Yes, I have two, one personal and one for work)"
what is meant by download before vz pushes it out?
Good question I think he has faith in sites hosting the link before Verizon pushes it out. But that still makes no sense lol

I think it is a good insight as to where it is getting held up. I think once Moto says its ok is when we see the ROMs and the releases while Verizon then drags its feet.

This means that you could download it, and upgrade your phone yourself before verizon pushes it out as an OTA.

so motorola will release it without verizon getting a hold of it.

I still think VZW has a say in what Moto can keep in it really.
Hmm maybe google is going to start letting us upgrade ourselves. Probably not tho, just wishful thinking. :icon_eek:

Moto actually. Motorola has to adapt googles update for its phones.

Well yea they have to optimize it for the droid but he did say google had the info on the release. I don't know lol he could be full of it so.
He could be. :P

I was just saying that if it was true, then Moto would have to optimize it.

I bet CK will come waltzing along any minute now and come up with some view from a business stand point that will prove those videos wrong. :p

Moto optimizes it, then Verizon tests it with employees and then if no bugs are found it goes out.

If they find bugs it's delayed.

Rinse and repeat.
