And improved speed. I can't wait to see it, I'm very anxious to put it on my Droid.

Me too. Actually going back to stock to get it...
I was thinking about going back to Stock as well UNLESS we see a custom ROM contain Froyo features before it is released.

this time im waiting until the actual roll-out to go back to stock. for 2.1 i went early because some announcements sounded like it would be out sooner than it released.

I don't see any reason to unroot 2.2. Source code will be released soon and devs will be working on ROMs from that. If 2.2 is pushed to nonrooted Droids soon, someone will pull that update.zip and add root very quickly.

*Unroot for 2.2

Agreed. As nice as Froyo may be I see no reason to unroot for it. The ROM cooks out there will make some wonderful flavors of Froyo. Froyo is faster than Eclair in stock trim. Froyo has JIT, Flash and AIR as well as a faster browser. A little patience + OC'ed Kernel + Custom Froyo ROM = bliss.

i got it. ill share, but everyone needs their own spoon.

Please do. here's my spoon!
