Google, I love them, but this waiting game for them to stop holding out on the source code until carriers can milk it for money makes me want to punch holes in walls. And to just pour salt into the wound, the nexus one not only gets it first but miraculous has it "leaked" like the day after the i/o conference.

What do we get? a bunch of pictures from p3droid and that's about it (no offense to him, it's not his fault) but this is starting to seem ridiculous. About the only hope I have that vzw and moto have their act together is that flash is coming out this month (supposedly).

someone needs to leak this thing already. and the excuse that it's not to protect people is wearing thin. we all know it can be "fixed" they did it with every other rom release as well as SBF files. nothing new.

Err, Eris IS a step down from the Droid processor wise, and both are steps down from the Incredible.

Well, this sucks. I'm going to visit family this weekend, and my brother in law's a huge Apple fanboi. I was really hoping I could rub some JIT, wifi tether, and Flash 10.1 in his face. Now my Droid's only going to look a little better than his iPhone 3GS instead of a lot better.

Now all I can flaunt are the physical QWERTY, much better screen, 5mp camera, dual flash, Skyfire Flash Lite, better speaker, removable/upgradable SD memory, removable/upgradable battery, true multitasking, free apps, apps from teh interwebz, Verizon 3G network, HQ YouTube videos, lack of iTunes ball and chain, and my ADW Launcher interface (oh, and live wallpapers). Maybe I'll have to root or something to make it more impressive.

Not a good sign that I didn't even think of the Devour! I guess the lineup, from bottom to top, would be the Eris, Devour, Droid, and the Incredible. They are ALL great phones, so I wouldn't worry about which one is supposedly better.

I would put the inc and droid as equal, they have diff features.. Some like keyboard etc etc..

The Incredible has a better camera, by MP and PQ, as well as a faster processor. And seeing as how the original poster was talking about processor speed from slowest to fastest, the Droid would certainly be behind the Incredible.
