One of the things I do like about Android 12 is the quick tiles. I like how they scroll now, info scrolling in each little card. Kind of reminds me of a Linux server dashboard GUI. But there are definitely things I don't like, too many extra steps to get to common functions, etc.

Had several random bugs on my 4XL, one where my keyboard wouldn't work. But I know those are the risk of a preview release. Now I'll say that the latest has been the buggiest for me so far, and I've been running the 12 beta for months before they even dropped it as a preview.

Have you guys noticed the tiny little green light dot in the upper right corner of the screen when on a phone call? If it did this in Android 11, I never noticed it before. I don't like the inability to turn Off WiFi in the Easy Access Tiles, like you used to be able to do. You can still turn Off Bluetooth with a tap, but not WiFi. Not user friendly at all.

I've seen the green dot several times and haven't really figured out why it's there or what it's for

I wonder if it is to let the user know that there's a Privacy feature activated, like using the microphone?? Or, just that there's an active phone call going on? I haven't noticed it any other time. Sajo, do you remember how we used to use the little blinking light to show unanswered messages, etc.?

It's letting you know that the mic is being used. Turn your camera on and you'll see the same thing. Well, on my P5 it's like that

I wondered about the mic, so I guessed correctly then, RoWilJr. I'll pay more attention when I use the camera the next time. Our 4XL's getting some very nice 5 features. Cool! Thank you, RoWilJr!

The last update makes my P5 slower than the one before, pretty bad lag..

It doesn't work well enough for me to put it on my Pixel 3XL.

In case you have not heard Google announced that they will be starting another beta on December 1st. If you were enrolled in Android 12 beta you will automatically get the new beta December 1st unless you opt out. So opt out now if you don't want to automatically get the new beta in December. A lot of speculation that this is Android 12 for new flip phones. But those are just speculation.

Me too. I need a break for a while and just enjoy Android 12 as-is.

So, now that some of us have opted out and running the public Android 12, would a Factory reset be worth while before setting up the new P6?
