Up until now, most of the talk regarding NFC tech that will be proliferating future Android phones has centered around retail payments. Now, at Google I/O yesterday, Google showed off some other slick applications of the technology that will be built-in to Ice Cream Sandwich. They demoed a zero-click peer to peer "bumping" for contacts, web page, and YouTube video sharing between NFC-equipped Android devices. Imagine being able to show off a cool app or video to your friends by just bringing the devices together. Data sharing will be amazing simple. Let's just cross our fingers that they can work out all the potential security kinks. You can check it out demoed in the video above.
