I'm completely confused with all this crap. So here's where I'm stuck.

I've done the fastboot thing in command and it was extracted, now I pulled the battery and booted back into the menu and selected recovery. It takes me to a black screen now with:
-Reboot system now
-USB-MS toggle
-Backup/Restore
-Flash zip menu
-Wipe
-Partition sdcard
-Mounts
-Other
-Format data,system,cache Ext4 | Ext3
-Developer menu
-Power off

So how to I actually install or do whatever I need to do so that I have superuser access again?

I just tried to reboot system now and when it loads up I have no access to mobile meaning that I can't make/receive calls. So I'm obviously not doing something right, any help is appreciated.

Simple enough, I clicked on install it and it removed the old one and put the new one so now I'll test it, and that is all that's required? Thanks for your help also, I really appreciate it.

I'm just going to do a complete recovery to factory, for some reason I can't get any signal now since I did something and Titanium backup is still saying it doesn't have superuser access.

Did you put the back cover back on?

Also you still have to go in the market and download superuser.

Ah, t hat may be why. I just did factory reset and everythings back to normal. My root was still there and all. I will redo it if it makes me download that stupid OTA again though.
