Amazon Instant Video

.

I tried connecting to my Amazon account to watch a video series I purchased. It works great on my laptop, but I cannot get it to work on my RAZR MAXX.

Any help? What might I be doing wrong?

Probably because Flash isn't officially support anymore, going to make it difficult to play videos that require it.

There isn't an Amazon Instant Video for mobile devices. There is one for Google-TV. I still don't understand why the iPad and Kindle have Instant Video apps but not other Android devices.

I wonder why apple and not android? Are they sticking it to regular android users while pushing their kindle version of android?

I was stuck waiting in a parking lot (without my laptop) and wanted to watch The Hobbit--no solution. STINK!

since amazon will not give us an app i just started using the google play store for movies.

I have an Amazon Prime account, would be nice to utilize it on my Xoom tab or Razr Maxx phone. I suppose since the Kindle uses a custom Android software, they will not offer once to the open Android users? I am still lost on why this is.....

PC,

Can you a brief review of how well this works? Pluses and minuses?

I am frustrated that Amazon is doing it this way. I have many movies, etc. that I simply cannot access. If they cannot or will not learn how to play nice with others, I will need to find an alternative that will work for all platforms.

Thank you.

Download and install Boat browser. Side load flash player. No need to root. Works on JB up to 4.2.2. Enjoy Amazon Instant Video via Boat browser and Flash. Or wait for Amazon's app.

Oh, make sure you go to Amazon's full site not the mobile. I just streamed Pretty In Pink on Amazon Prime to confirm it works on my RAZR Maxx.

Honestly I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on Amazon to put their instant video on phones. If they do I would bet they only put it on tablets for the larger screen size.

No idea what sideloading is... but willing to learn. My MAXX currently has 4.04. Is there a suggested walkthru?

Thank you.
