Amazon Prime Instant Video now working on Android Tablets

Good news guys. Thanks to an update to the Amazon Prime Instant Video app, it is now allowing users to stream video content to Android tablets. Prime Instant Video only worked with Android phones, and more recently with Fire devices and iOS devices previously.

Now watch Amazon Instant Video on your Android phones and tablets. Android tablet customers can search and browse for videos on Amazon.com in their web browser and tap Watch Now to have the Prime Instant Video app begin playing the video.

Sadly, Chromecast support is still a no go and it doesn't look like it'll be around anytime soon.

Good, the old workaround I discovered was mildly annoying. The phone version worked just fine, you just had to install it from the Amazon App Store app rather than the Amazon app.
