Amazon "Greatest Hits" Free Apps of the Day!!!

Amazon is having a Greatest Hits free sale. Several great apps from the past couple of years are free again for a limited time. If you happened to miss one, you can grab any or all of them for free, some of which are normally priced at $15. Weird.. These apps are all showing with a price, not as free. Has anyone went through with a purchase and can verify as to whether or not you are charged for the purchase?

When Amazon App store first came out they had some really nice free apps of the day. I guess I was lucky enough to grab it when it was originally offered because I found it under "My Apps" and stored in the "Cloud" area. I never used it, but sounds like it is a good one.
