Alternate Screen Lock?

Can anyone tell me if there's an application you use to unlock your screen without pushing the button at the top? With this new Diztronic case that I got, it kind of makes it awkward to push that button at the top of the Bionic and I would like to see if there's any other alternatives to darken or unlock the screen instead of always using that. Thanks!

I have Widget Locker, but all it does is allow you to change what the stock lock screen looks like and add widgets to the lock screen.

If you're talking about having to press the power button in order to bring the screen up so you can unlock it, then Widget Locker is not what you want.

I just checked. There's an option to "wake up" the phone with any hardware button, such as the usual power button or the volume buttons. Also you can enable the soft buttons to "unlock" the phone.

I think i'm just a little challenged but how in the world do you adjust settings on widget locker? It's not in the app tray, and if you click on the widget it just locks the screen. If you click and hold it offers to delete it.

Also an app I found in the market called simply "Lock Screen Widget" is an onscreen widget to lock the screen. Although I've never tried it, the comments suggest it can get tricky to install/uninstall. With WidgetLocker Lockscreen & Lock Screen Widget combined, you should be able to do what you originally asked.

Good luck.

When you open it in the drawer, you're opening it in an edit mode. While in the edit mode press menu and go to settings.

I think this is what the OP wanted; something other that the power button to bring the screen back up in order to unlock it. Just set it so the volume buttons do the same thing.

Does widget locker fully kill the built in locker?

I had another lock screen and every so often (enough to be annoying) the built in one would pop up for a second before being replaced by the new one...

The stock lockscreen usually only shows up for a few seconds while the phone is booting up. I'm not exactly sure what WidgetLocker does with the stock lockscreen.
