Alert Times

Is there a way to set a schedule for gmail alert times, when I am sleeping for instance? I realize I can shut it off manually. But it would be really nice to be able to set a schedule so I don't have to worry about it every night.

I've seen suggestions for apps such as Timeriffic. There are several others as well, IIRC. A search on Timeriffic will probably yield some alternatives or at least some keywords you can search for.

I looked at Timeriffic. From what I understand, that either mutes or unmutes your phone. Because of my job, I need to be available by phone for calls. I just don't need to read my emails at 3 a.m. I have heard of people with Crackberries setting timers for alerts for certain functions, such as email.

I will keep searching.

Thanks!
