Album Art showing up in my Photo Gallery

I can’t keep my album art out of my photo gallery. I’ve tried adding the “ .nomedia “ text file to my music folders but everytime I try my music will not show in my music player.
I might want to find a different photo viewer that will let me specify what picture folders to display.

all album art images, jpegs, need to be renamed from whatever they are currently named to "albumart.jpg." then they will disappear. Android ignores indexing images with that file name.
