Alarm clock is weak!

For some reason I can't get my alarm clock to go off loud enough...it really sucks!

Do you have it set for increasing volume? It starts off soft and gets really loud, I use a MP3 for my alarm and it gets so loud my fiance' kicks me in the back till I get up.

I think its louder if you have the increasing volume off myself. when I have it on, its starts off way too low for me.
