Alarm Clock Display

Hello all; Unlike my last droid (Motorola Droid), when I put the Inc 2 in the cradle,(to use as an alarm clock), the screen will not switch to landscape, and the time is not displayed (after the unit goes to sleep).

Is there a fix. I really want to see the clock at night while in the dock.

I never used or liked the native alarm clock/display. I switched a long time ago to an app called Bedside. It is very, very customizable and perfect. It offers an option to come on every time you put the phone in the dock and to turn the app off every time you remove it from the dock. You could look at it.

But I'm like you, I thought there was a way to make the native alarm clock be displayed every time you inserted the phone into to the docking station.
