does anyone have the alarm and timer APK for the stock droid 2? I am running the squidly rom and it doesnt come with it. I use the timer for work and love how it is in one app rather than getting 2 apps for timer and alarm.
if you go to the Hacks section, all the source APK's are in a sticky there. You are looking for "BlurAlarmclock.apk" Keep in mind that if you put that in your /system/app folder, you will need to set correct permissions, as well as reboot before it shows up. Also, you may need to remove the basic android clock (deskclock.apk?) if you use alarms, otherwise, you wont see your alarm notification in the status bar or the lock screen. The alarm will function properly tho, even if you dont....
It also requires these files in system/framework:
com.motorola.android.frameworks.jar
com.motorola.android.widget.jar
com.motorola.blur.library.utilities.jar
..and set permissions to rw-r--r-- (or chmod 0644) for each.
Kind of a pain, but the blur alarm/timer is definitely better than stock.
