Airplane Mode with Bluetooth On?

I have a D1 and a set of bluetooth headphones. I'm not really worried the bluetooth is somehow going to bring my plane down, but I also don't want to run my battery down searching for cell signal from the air. Is there a way to turn off the phone function and leave the bluetooth on? Thanks.

Earlier this week, I read a thread with a similar issue. The member turned on the Airplane mode then used a widget to turn on BT. Not sure it worked so if you try let us know.
