AIM v1.0.27.5 Application for Android | Social

Just use Ebuddy. It has GTALK, Myspace, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, AIM and Facebook all in one app. Works flawlessly.

I am using MEEBO... I hated EBuddy, and really don't like MEEBO that much either. I want an APP similar to the one provided on my old ENV Touch. I like the way it kept everything separate. I hate how all these others show ALL contacts in one list.

Downloaded the AIM client for Droid. When you go to settings it has:
Facebook Chat... Set up your facebook chat settings for AIM. This option is grayed out. Anyone know anything about this?

all the android aim clients are crap...and they are all battery killers.

Google just needs to integrate it into gtalk like in gmail!!

Go to Beta - AIM and choose "Use AIM on the web." Log in, and once you're connected, go ahead and click Connect, and after AIM is connected to Facebook, your Facebook Chat contacts will be added to AIM, and that option will no longer be grayed out.

I've got 2 aim accounts and can't access either. and it's not like I've forgotten my passwords either. I have to guess they've both been hacked.

AOL Instant Messenger for Android now in Market

Works pretty good so far. Has a status icon in the notification bar too.

EDIT: If you go into settings there's a setting for Facebook Chat that's greyed out. I looked into it and sure enough the new version of AIM (7.2.3.10 Beta) integrates Facebook Chat.

EDIT 2: It does sync up with AIM for Android, so there you have it.

I tried this out, however it kept disconnecting me and could never stay signed on. Hi Aim has never disconnected and always will be on.

Maybe they fixed that by now?
