After uninstalling antivirus, I still get prompted to update

How can I get around this, this thing is a virus in itself. This is the one that looks like a yellow and white pill. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

when you poke around in 'downloaded applications" do you see another version of the AV app....

sounds like after the tons of updates instead of rewriting over the curent version it installed another version.

I would look to see if this is the case.

Hey well if it was another version it didn't show up anywhere on my phone. I uninstalled it around January 3rd after that one update was messing up people's phones. And since then every now and then I would get prompted to update that application even though I had uninstalled it. I searched my phone using ASTRO File Manager as well as mounting my phone to my computer to search for anything related to that antivirus application.

Finally after finding nothing I just installed the app and uninstalled it again and so far I haven't seen it come up on my downloads list.

Try reinstalling it, than go into your apps but before you uninstall again clear out it's cache and force stop it. Then uninstall it?
