adding your face to text convo

So, how do I get my picture on the "Me" Box on the left hand side of my text conversations. It always shows the picture of the person im texting if I set it to their contact. I am egotistical and would like to see myself more!

Add your photo to your contact card in 'People'

I did this and it is still not working. Any help?
